1. Two-Deep Leadership&lt;br /&gt;
* One adult must be a registered leader&lt;br /&gt;
* One over 21&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
2. No One-on-One Contact&lt;br /&gt;
* Even with merit badge counselors&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
3. Respect of Privacy&lt;br /&gt;
* Applies to youth and adults&lt;br /&gt;
* Intrude only to maintain health and safety&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
4. Cameras, imaging and digital devices&lt;br /&gt;
* Not to be used when privacy would be expected (eg. showers and restrooms)&lt;br /&gt;
* Report youth behavior to designated leader of the activity and Local Scout Executive&lt;br /&gt;
* Confiscate device and report the incident&lt;br /&gt;
* Require and adult violator to leave the location immediately&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
5. Separate Accommodations&lt;br /&gt;
* No youth permitted to sleep in the tent of an adult other than his own parent or guardian&lt;br /&gt;
* Youth and Adults must shower at different times&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
6. Appropriate Attire&lt;br /&gt;
* Proper clothing for all activities&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
7. No secret organizations&lt;br /&gt;
* Scouting program is transparent&lt;br /&gt;
* Watch for bulling, hazing, peer or peer abuse&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
8. Constructive Discipline&lt;br /&gt;
* Corporal punishment, hazing, intimidation all prohibited&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
9. Grooming&lt;br /&gt;
* Abuser conditions the child with nonsexual physical contact and gifts&lt;br /&gt;
* Enforce two-deep leadership and no one-one-one contact&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
10. Hazing prohibited&lt;br /&gt;
* All forms of hazing and initiations not permitted&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
11. Youth leader training and supervision&lt;br /&gt;
* Adult leaders monitor and guide&lt;br /&gt;
* Youth leaders only administer discipline with adult leader guidance&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
12. Member responsibilities&lt;br /&gt;
* Observe Scout Oath and Scout Law&lt;br /&gt;
* No violence, hazing, bullying, verbal insults, theft, drugs and alcohol&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
13. Signs of Bullying&lt;br /&gt;
* If you observe:&lt;br /&gt;
* absences&lt;br /&gt;
* nervousness around certain Scouts&lt;br /&gt;
* baseless anger or resentment&lt;br /&gt;
* physical signs such as cuts and bruises&lt;br /&gt;
* avoiding group restrooms&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
14. Bullying Solutions&lt;br /&gt;
* Talk to the suspected target&lt;br /&gt;
* Increase adult supervision&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
15. Resolve bullying&lt;br /&gt;
* Stop the actions, protect the target&lt;br /&gt;
* Tell the bully actions are unacceptable&lt;br /&gt;
* Talk to the target&lt;br /&gt;
* Encourage target to tell his parents&lt;br /&gt;
* Talk to the parents of the bully&lt;br /&gt;
* Convene a patrol leaders&amp;#039; council&lt;br /&gt;
* Call a committee meeting&lt;br /&gt;
* For serious incidents, call your local Scout executive&lt;br /&gt;
* Model kind behavior yourself&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
16. Cyber Bullying&lt;br /&gt;
* Using digital devices to bully&lt;br /&gt;
* Tactics:&lt;br /&gt;
* Spreading Gossip&lt;br /&gt;
* Sending hateful messages&lt;br /&gt;
* Pretending to be someone else&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
17. Stop cyber bullying&lt;br /&gt;
* Ask Scout to report the incidents&lt;br /&gt;
* Encourage them to block or delete messages without reading&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
18. Unit responsibilities&lt;br /&gt;
* Head of chartered organization or COR approve registration of unit leader&lt;br /&gt;
* Adult leaders monitor Scout behavior&lt;br /&gt;
* Intercede when necessary&lt;br /&gt;
* Parents informed of misbehavior&lt;br /&gt;
* Serious incidents reported immediately to local Scout executive&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
19. Reporting Abuse Requirements&lt;br /&gt;
* Inform person in charge of the activity and your local Scout executive&lt;br /&gt;
* Inform appropriate agencies as required by state law&lt;br /&gt;
