Stuck on wait-online
systemd[1]: Starting apt-daily.service - Daily apt download activities... systemd-networkd-wait-online[1336808]: Timeout occurred while waiting for network connectivity. apt-helper[1336806]: E: Sub-process /lib/systemd/systemd-networkd-wait-online returned an error code (1) systemd[1]: apt-daily.service: Deactivated successfully. systemd[1]: Finished apt-daily.service - Daily apt download activities.
Hack solution #1:
- Edit /etc/systemd/system/network-online.target.wants/systemd-networkd-wait-online.service
- add "--timeout=5" to ExecStart:
- ExecStart=/lib/systemd/systemd-networkd-wait-online --timeout=5
- OR
- ExecStart=/lib/systemd/systemd-networkd-wait-online -i eno1
- Reboot, and it should skip network check
systemctl daemon-reload systemctl restart systemd-networkd-wait-online systemctl status systemd-networkd-wait-online
Hack solution #2:
sudo systemctl disable systemd-networkd-wait-online.service sudo systemctl mask systemd-networkd-wait-online.service
Solution #3:
