You cannot install Python 3.14 via the deadsnakes PPA on Ubuntu 20.04 (Focal Fossa), because Ubuntu 20.04 has reached end-of-standard-support and deadsnakes does not build newer Python versions for legacy releases.

To use Python 3.14 on Ubuntu 20.04, compile it from source or upgrade your operating system to a newer release like Ubuntu 24.04 (Noble Numbat) where Python 3.14 packages are available.

Compile Python 3.14 from Source on Ubuntu 20.04
