Basics

IPv6 DNS Lookup:

dig AAAA ipv6.google.com  # 2607:f8b0:4005:800::100e

IPv6 Reverse DNS Lookup:

dig -x 2607:f8b0:4005:800::100e

# similar to arp with ipv4
ip -6 neigh
ip neigh

dhclient

Request IPv6 address:

dhclient -6 -d eth0

Release IPv6 address:

dhclient -6 -r -d eth0
