Quicken

Convert OFX to QFX

1. Download OFX (Microsoft Money) file.

2. Change the file extension from OFX to QFX.

3. Open the QFX file in Notepad and make the following changes: add <INTU.BID>3000 after <LANGUAGE>ENG

4. Open Quicken and choose Insert, Web Connect and it will trick Quicken into letting you import your transactions

NOTE:

  • Insert <INTU.BID>3000 after <LANGUAGE>ENG
  • Delete <INTU.BID>0000

Kenneth Note: It appears just as effective to change the existing <INTU.BID>0000 to <INTU.BID>30000

Last Loaded

C:\Documents and Settings\kenneth\Application Data\Intuit\Quicken\Config\QW.CFG

To clear out, just move/delete the Config folder.

Note: this will loose some quicken preferences
