T-Mobile Dash Tweaks
Change pink TZones button on the keyboard to launch your favorite app:
- Use ActiveSync to connect to your T-Mobile Dash, and select Explore
- Turn on viewing of hidden folders Tools -> Folder Options
- Browse to \Windows (My Windows Mobile-Based Device -> Windows)
- Copy short_IE.lnk to the local computer and edit in a text editor
- Change 36#"\windows\winwapce14s-tmobile.exe" to your favorite app
- On newer software the line will be 36#"\windows\winwap.exe"
- Example: 30#\Windows\IA_Task_Manager.exe?:TaskManagerApp which is the Task Manager
- Copy short_IE.lnk back to the Dash.

Power off hold left and right nav key press the power button should ask to reset everything press the "green" send button
