Sysprep

What to do after cloning an Ubuntu Image:

  1. /etc/hostname
  2. /etc/hosts
  3. /etc/netplan
    1. netplan --debug apply ; networkctl
  4. Regen Ubuntu/machine-id
  5. Ubuntu/regen ssh host keys
  6. Clear history file
  7. Clear log files
  8. poweroff

  1. apt update ; apt upgrade
  2. /etc/ssh/sshd
  3. ansible
  4. ssh keys
